The following lists provide brief descriptions of all the menu items.
Search Screen menus
File:

Close All Search Results Windows |
Closes any open Search Results windows. |
|
Clear Fields |
Resets all text fields to empty and all drop-down lists to their initial settings. This is the equivalent to the Clear Fields button at the bottom of the Search Screen. Because this menu has an accelerator (Ctrl K), you can reset the Search Screen to its initial settings via the keyboard. |

Exit |
Ends the program. |
Font Size:
|
Large |
Uses a larger font size for the program, which will tend to make both the text and the overall window sizes larger. This menu item is not available if you are running at a low screen resolution (640x480). |
|
Small |
Uses a smaller font size for the program, which will tend to make both the text and the overall window sizes smaller. This menu item is not available if you are running at a low screen resolution (640x480). |
Information:
The Information menu can be used to bring up information on a number of different topics in your system’s browser. The specific set of items listed under the Information menu may vary from edition to edition. Most of the items should be self-explanatory.

Search Results menus
File:

Prints the tabular list (if the Match List is displayed) or the item details display. |

Copy to Clipboard |
Copies the item details information to the Windows clipboard. This menu item is not available when the Match List is displayed. |
|
Close |
Closes the Search Results window. |
View:
|
Sort Order … |
Brings up the dialog that lets you control how the Match List is sorted. This menu item is not available when the Item Details view is displayed. See the Sort Dialog for more information. |

Field Selection … |
Brings up the dialog that lets you control which fields are displayed in the Match List, and in what order. This menu item is not available when the Item Details view is displayed. See the Field Selection Dialog for more information. |

Match List |
This menu item acts like the "Match List" tab, and switches the view to the Match List. Because this menu item has an accelerator (CTRL+L), this provides a way to switch from the Item Details display to the Match List using the keyboard. |

Item Details |
This menu item acts like the "Item Details" tab, and switches the view to the Item Details display. Because this menu item has an accelerator (CTRL+D), this provides a way to switch from the Match List to the Item Details display using the keyboard. |

Show Original Title |
This toggle determines whether the Original AMPR Title is displayed in the Item Details view. By default only the Title, but not the Orginal AMPR Title, is displayed. If this choice is turned on, a check-mark appears next to it on the menu. This menu item is not available if the Match List is displayed. |

Display Search Criteria … |
The search criteria are shown in the title bar of the Search Results window. But if the search criteria are lengthy, they may not all be visible in the title bar. Choose this menu item to bring up a separate window which shows the search criteria used to generate the Match List. |

Small Font |
This toggle selects a small font size (10 point) for display of text in the Match List and the Item Details view. |
|
Medium Font |
This toggle selects a medium font size (12 point) for display of text in the Match List and the Item Details view. |
|
Large Font |
This toggle selects a large font size (14 point) for display of text in the Match List and the Item Details view |

Matches Title + Map-Maker |
The database will be searched for all records that have the same Title and same Map-Maker as the currently displayed entry. (If the Match List is being displayed, the currently selected row is used.) The records found by this search will replace the contents of the Match List. See Refining the List for more information. |
