Map Collection Manager
Any collection is improved by being well documented. And map collections are no exception. With a good record of what is in your map collection, you can:
The AMPR Map Collection Manager (MCM) was designed as an easy-to-use tool for documenting your collection, but with the flexibility needed to accommodate each map collector’s own ideas of what information should be recorded about the maps in his or her collection. The MCM is also fully integreted with the AMPR, letting you easily relate the maps in your collection to those in the AMPR’s historical database.
Here are a few annotated screen shots of the MCM, giving you a quick sense of what it is like to work with the program.
View your collection as a list:

View the details for any item:

In addition to viewing your collection as a list or as a set of detail records, you can search, sort, print, subset, import (from Excel or ASCII text), export (to Excel or ASCII text), edit data, delete records, create multiple collections, etc., etc. You can also add new records to your collection using a record from the AMPR historical database as a template, and you can ask to search the historical database for all records that match the currently selected map in your collection.
