The AMPR Map Collection Manager User’s Guide

 

Introduction

 

The Antique Map Price Record includes a map collection manager as part of the AMPR CD-ROM.  The Map Collection Manager (MCM) allows you to catalog your collection, entering data on each of your maps.  The collection database that you create with the MCM can then be viewed, sorted, searched, printed, etc. (all the same kinds of operations that you do with the AMPR historical database).

 

This version of the documentation describes the MCM as contained on the Vol. 23 edition of the AMPR CD-ROM.  If you are running an earlier or later edition, the features of the MCM may vary in certain small ways from what is documented here.

 

The Map Collection Manager is integrated with the main AMPR program, so you don’t have to do any special installation tasks to access the MCM.  This documentation describes the MCM in two parts:
